Located 2,000 feet above the Colorado River, Dead Horse Point offers an amazing vista of a wild landscape as far as my eye can see. Layers of rock and sediment sculpted buy the powerful Colorado River creates one of the most mesmerizing landscapes of the true west. Being there at the exact moment when the sun snuck below the horizon allowed me to witness extroadanary color. From deep blues and purples to warm oranges and pinks, the already beautiful canyon, came to life at just the right moment for me to click the shutter.
