Bluebonnet Lightning
One of the most beautiful spring blooms of the south is the Texas Bluebonnets. This image was captured in Ennis Texas after a torrential April rain storm came passed overhead at sunset. As soon as the rain subsided, I could still see lightning in the distance so I climbed out of my van as fast as I could and setup in that direction to take the shot. We never know when the next bolt is coming or if it ever will. After roughly 500 attempts or cycles of the shutter as some may say, I was able to capture 3 lighting bolts and this was clearly the favorite. 100% authentic, No AI, No Composite imagery, this is what it really looked like.
