Deadhorse Point Timeblend

The concept here is about creating “Art” by visually showing the “Changing of Time”. The Colorado River carves its way thru the canyon as consistenly as the day fades into night. This image is a Timeblend in which I keep the camera in the same position for up to 5 hours to record sunset and absolute darkness for the stars. Leaving the camera in one location and using filters and black cards enabled me to record the right amount like at the right time to create this image. This image took multiple nights and several camera setups to figure out the time and exposure. Location and timing were also picked far in advance to know when and where the milky way would arch thru my frame.
