Description
A beautiful sow brown bear known as “Grazer” waits atop Brooks Falls for Sockeye Salmon brave enough to make the leap. She started off by choosing not to expend much energy at all and simply tried to wait for an unsuspecting sockeye to land in her mouth. After a long ten minutes, she likely figured the meal wouldn’t come that easy, so she began to get aggressive by swinging and dipping her head until she successfully grasped a salmon in her jaws. Merely seconds before the successful catch, she came nose to nose with a sockeye as it tried to make a 180 degree U-turn upon first sight of the bears face.
