Swept Away
The pull of the ocean is strong, both metaphorically and as pictured here, physically. I struggled to hold still to capture this image as the ocean pulled the sand from under my feat and moved about hundreds of small rocks with every tide. The scene depicts the constant force of the sea as it moves and erodes rock and basalt formations of every size under calm blue evening skies.
