Description
It is a rarity for a grizzly to nurse out in the open as #399 is doing here. Most often a bear will find a cool heavily shaded area so they can lounge for a while and rest. So this was a real treat. I was able to take quite a few images but this one stood out the most. The aggressive little bear who demanded mamas milk first, stopped nursing and gazed right into my camera as it rested its now tired head on mamas upper chest. A piece of all four cubs is visible in this photo.
