Guardian of Light
I find it is often the case that the biggest most dominant objects in any given landscape are not necessarily the most beautiful when it comes to photography and it is often their smaller counterparts that take the show. Such is the case with this haystack, located directly next to the giant famous haystack on Cannon Beach. While its big bother gets most of the love, this little stack put on a show this night with the way the waves and light moved arounds its base. The sun poked out from behind the haystack and allowed the texture of the waves to capture its brilliant light.
