One very cold evening while night fishing high in mountains of Colorado, I decided I might try to and take a few underwater images as I released the trout I’d catch back to the wild. A bit tricky, the moonlight was barely enough, it was a struggle to even catch fish and even more so when I actually did, as soon as they were released from the net they had a tendency to just bolt away into deep water. One Big Brown Trout however did stay still long enough for a few clicks. This was the last fish off the night as when I pulled the camera out of the water this time, it covered itself and my hands with ice in only a matter of seconds.
