Naknek Sunrise
Sunrise in late September in South West Alaska is the best… if it actually happens. I didn’t see the sun for almost the entirety of my time in Katmai this season as it rained its little heart out daily. However, on my finally morning camped along Naknek lake, she put on a show. Some of the softest pinks and oranges I have ever seen. I found it really hard to pull my self away from photographing bears with this amazing sunrise, but I did and I’m super happy about it. Don’t think I didn’t get a superb shot of a bear family with this amazing sunrise colors tho.
