During a long night under a moonlit Colorado sky, this Old Mill sees the beginnings of another day. The image was captured under only the light provided by the full moon on a late September night. No other light sources were used. A long 30 second exposure softens the trickle of the flowing river and adds to the intensity of the moonlit scene. To capture the image, I stood ankle deep in the then accessible Crystal River until I accomplished taking the perfect image.
