Out West
Out West was taken at the edge of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Western Colorado is filled with dramatic landscapes like this and crazy fast hitting storms that seem to slide thru almost every summer afternoon. On this particular day, as a rainbow appeared at the end of the storm, so did a burst of sunlight. The direct warm sunlight illuminates the tulmultous skies and gives the rugged landscape a sense of warmth and calm.
