Porphyry Basin Wildflowers
Porphyry Basin is a wonderful basin located in the San Juan Mountains of Southern Colorado. During a few special weeks a year, one might be lucky enough too catch the tail end of a melting snowfields and the beginning of alpine wildflower season. In the distance you can see a what remains of a small waterfall as the flower seasons really begin to bloom and add vibrant colors all over the alpine basin.
