Sometimes you can just see the image unfold before your eyes, such was the case here. I was standing on the outside edge of the storm watching it roll in slowly over the mountain creating a blanket of snow and fog. I was watching a 12,000ft mountain disappear before my eyes, fading to white and it was amazing. This is quite possibly my favorite image from the short lived event. The sun was fading out fast here behind clouds but it provided just enough light to the tops of the aspens to make them glow only seconds before they became overwhelmed with falling snow and would eventually disappear.
