Seasons Change
Sometimes you can just see the image unfold before your eyes, such was the case here. I was standing just outside the edge of the storm watching its edge roll slowly over the mountain creating a blanket of snow and fog. I was slowing watching the 12,000ft mountain disappear before my eyes, it was amazing. This is quite possibly my favorite image from the event. The sun was fading out fast but here it provided just enough light to make the tops of the aspens glow seconds before they became overwhelmed with falling snow and eventually disappeared into the dense fog.
