Sunrise Flight
A sunrise bush flight into Katmai National Park. It had rained for weeks and sun had finally broken thru. I was out photographing the brilliant sunrise focusing on this amazing orange horizontal light beam when I began to hear the buzzing of an early morning aircraft. I believe it was a Cessna-206 fixed with floats coming in low on the horizon right in the middle of the frame. I think the plane really adds a sense of scale and brings the entire scene together quite nicely as the little 4 seater glides across the lake.
