Sunrise in the Aspen Forest
This wonderful image is a different take on an Aspen Forest. Most photographs are overly clean feeling and well lit from the front. This is exactly was I wasn’t going for! Aspen forests are messy, vibrant, unique and ever changing as the sunlight moves around. I fell in love with the oranges and yellows of this particular forest so I camped overnight to be here for sunrise when I knew I could likely have them backlit and illuminated. The complexity of this image really gives the viewer a lot to look at over and over again.
