Untouched Alaska
I kind of feel like this is image is the reason anyone would want to travel to Alaska. The tranquility of the mornings here are beyond imaginable. The ability to walk amongst the giants of the earth in peace has to be one of the greatest allures of mankind. This image was taken in the light of the predawn hours as brown bear fishes Naknek Lake in southwest Alaska. The bear floated its way around scooping up salmon with its giant paws and eating to its hearts content.
