Alaskan Beachcomber
The beachcomber is a 3 year old sub adult bear just emancipated by its mother earlier in the spring and is very curious about her suroundings. She wonders around and get her nose into just about everything she feels she needs to ‘test out.’ Hey if the shoe fits, is the general mentality of this age. This bear loves to watch any people it sees walking the shoreline. Sometimes she would approach a bit too closely out of curiosity, but mostly just give some glances or a long stare before she passes right on by.
