Bison in the Mist
In the deep heart of a Yellowstone winter, a lone bison grazes the last remaining strands of grass along meandering bends of Rose Creek in Lamar Valley. It was almost -30F when this image was taken and I was all but frozen. The mist off the creek would come and go with the gentlest of breezes, so I had to wait to capture the image until I felt it was the perfect amount to tell the story.
