Dreamscape is a really fun image I photographed in the Great Sand Dunes National Park. I hiked around the highest dunes before dark looking for the perfect composition. I needed a dune that would point its ridge line toward Polaris or North Star, and be big enough for me to align with a star and furthermore have some interesting foreground texture. Finding this perspective was the largest challenge, as well as the wind for such a long exposure, but the outcome turned out fantastic and feels almost unearthly.
