This is one of those moments I just fell in love with. I was standing waist deep in the waters of Naknek Lake in Katmai, Alaska waiting on bears that may travel down out if the woods towards the lake. When its foggy, bears often stick close to the tree line for whatever reason, except this beautiful bear. She came all way down to the water and stood in the lake for a few minutes letting the small waves crash upon her feet. The fog would ebb and flow as it rolled off the water. Sometimes she would become visible and sometimes she would be lost in the hazy mist for a few moments. This image is a great mixture of a visible bear, and that magical feeling of being lost in the subtle fog.
