Guardian of the Night
As the sun sets and daylight fades into darkness, the magical colors of the civil light make their appearance. Reds, yellows, oranges, blues and purples are among those on display. The giant haystack of Cannon Beach is all that stands in their way. It is a rarity to experience such dramatic colors along the coast as much the time the atmosphere isn’t so crystal clear, but covered in overcast skies.
