The concept here is about creating “Art” by visually showing the “Changing of Time”. I timed this image for a 2am start when the milky way would directly match the shape of Mesa Arch then waited until sunrise. This image is a Timeblend in which I kept the camera in the same position for up to 6 hours to record the milky way, bluehour and sunrise. Location and timing were set a year in advance to know exactly when the milky way would mirror the exact shape of Mesa Arch. I recorded each of the three each parts individually keeping the exposure running to create the final image.
