Sunshine Shakeoff
During a warm autumn glow in Katmai National Park, brown bear shakes off water droplets as it fishes for salmon in the Brooks River. This particular bear would consistently put its head under water to look for fish and every time it lifted its head, it would systematically shake the water droplets from its face. Alice, is the nickname for any seagull who follows the bear too closely and interrupts when feasible and snatches small bits and pieces of the bears meals.
