This beautiful bull elk screams at me with an ear piercing bugle. He is trying to call the ladies to him while still maintaining enough distance as to hopefully not incure a fight with the slightly bigger herd bull. Eventually he did sneak into theher bulls harem, and drew away a few of his cows to start a herd of his own.
