The Color of Fire

On October 22, 2020 Wildfires made their way into Rocky Mountian National Park and burned 29,000 acres before finally going out. I left the park just before evacuations began and on my way out I stopped to shoot this panorama. The smoke was so thick that afternoon it turned the skies on the east side of the park a deep orange, just as the west side began to burn.
